Itinerary
Day 1 Saturday – Arrive Cairns
Take a flight to Cairns (own expense) any time on Saturday then make your way to our accommodation in Cairns. Tonight, you meet your tour leader and fellow travellers for dinner and drinks.
Day 2 Sunday – Great Barrier Reef
Experience one of the Seven Wonders of the World – The Great Barrier Reef – by cruising onboard Cairns’ fastest, most luxurious super-yacht to the Outer Great Barrier Reef to explore two spectacular and exclusive outer Great Barrier Reef locations for snorkelling in this underwater paradise. Dial-up the adventure and add an intro scuba dive for only $80. Free evening to explore the many restaurants, bars, cafes and pubs of Cairns.
Day 3 Monday – Daintree Rainforest
Grab your hat, sunnies and some swimming gear because today we head north to Cape Tribulation where the oldest rainforest in the world meets the Great Barrier Reef. See crocodiles on a river cruise along the Daintree river, enjoy breathtaking places, walk along boardwalks to explore the rainforest and swim in a secret (croc free) swimming hole in the middle of the rainforest!
Day 4 Tuesday – Island Fun
We head south in our private bus transport to Townsville to take the ferry across to Magnetic Island, a spectacular island resort for two days chilling out, swimming, sunbaking, snorkelling, water activities, secluded beaches and nocturnal activities!
Day 5 Wednesday – Magnetic Island
Sleep in! There are plenty of activities (own expense) to do on the island as well as exploring and enjoying the most of this tropical paradise with 23 pristine beaches and one of the largest koala populations in Australia.
Day 6 Thursday – Overnight Whitsundays
Off the island to further south to Airlie Beach to board an amazing boat for an action-packed 2-day and 2-night excursion around the amazing Whitsunday Islands, providing laughs and memories to last a lifetime! By day, the tour goes to the famous Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet Lookout as well as the awesome dive and snorkel locations in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. In the evening you can unwind, play games and mingle with your new buddies!
Day 7 Friday – Overnight Whitsundays
Relax and soak up some sun or get active with snorkeling, scuba diving, stand up paddle boarding, or jump on one of the two water slides on deck. There’s no better place to unwind and watch the sunset after a big day of exploring the Whitsundays.
Day 8 Saturday – Final Day Celebration
We return to Airlie Beach for the afternoon with free time to relax, shop and swim in the huge lagoon pool. Tonight, we enjoy a group dinner and optional after cruise party to celebrate one of the most amazing trips you’ll ever do!
Day 9 Sunday – Check out
Return to your home city by catching a flight (own expense) from The Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine)
