Yarra Valley Day Trip Summary

During our series of four wine tastings at the area’s best-known wineries and an included vineyard lunch, you’ll soon realise why the Yarra Valley is one of Australia’s favorite wine regions, praised for its picturesque scenery and beautiful produce! We love it here and we know you will too!

Trip Itinerary

Our tour departs Melbourne between 9.00am – 9.50am with a scenic drive to the Yarra Valley. We’ll cruise through forests, farms and vines before arriving at the vineyard where we will have our first private tasting!

Throughout the day, we visit 3 other wineries where you’ll taste a variety of different wines, only available at the cellar door. You will learn about the story behind each winery, walk amongst the vines and taste local produce. Cellar doors will offer you special wine deals so you if you find wines you like, you can take them home as a souvenir!

We have lunch together at a the beautiful Balgownie Estate (or equivalent) where you can relax with a beer or – of course – a glass of wine whilst taking in the beautiful scenery. Rolling hills, lakes and vineyards all around, what more could one wish for?!

After a lovely day of exploring the region and sampling gorgeous wines, we return to Melbourne around 4:30pm – 5:00 pm.
