Melbourne Pt. 1
Time is passing so fast…
I can’t believe it’s only 8 days until my internship finishes and I’m starting my month of travelling along the east coast. Where as the time gone?! I don’t even want to think about leaving Sydney so soon. I prefer telling you about my last weekend in Melbourne.
I flew in on Friday morning and spent all day walking through the beautiful city and enjoying all the interesting sights. I took the free Tram called the “City Circle” and did a walk which was recommended by my Lonely Planet guide. The weather was fantastic and I had a great day which I finished with a Cocktail on the promenade close to the Yarra river.
On Saturday I joined our Great Ocean Road trip. Honestly, the scenery was more than just impressive! Driving along the coast and cliffs was amazing and we stopped at breath-taking lookouts. The rainforest walk and the 12 Apostles were my absolutely favourite stops. We also saw wild koalas sitting in the trees. It definitely was a fabulous day!
Sunday was kind of a relaxing day. I went to the Queen Victoria Markets and bought some beautiful Opals for myself and my mum. After relaxing in St. Kilda I went to the Royal Botanic Gardens and they’re as beautiful as the ones in Sydney. I flew back to Sydney in the afternoon and had a nice dinner with my roommates.
